Chill Air Conditioning Ltd are a very popular choice for customers looking for domestic air conditioning, as we have such great reputation. After seeing our reviews online, a new customer called looking for information and a quote for residential air conditioning in Derby.

They owned a lovely, detached, new build home but found that through the summer it would get very hot and as they suffered from hayfever they didn’t want to have to keep the windows open. We carried out a site visit to discuss exactly what they were looking to achieve and show some options that were available to them.

They informed us they wanted 3 bedrooms upstairs, as well as an office and lounge downstairs, to be conditioned independently & were wanting units that would provide heating as well as cooling.

We offered the customer a triple system for the upstairs bedrooms and a separate twin system for the ground floor, both systems were A++ energy efficiency and come with a 5-year warranty. Using this method we also reduced the need for excessive outdoor units and were able to keep the pipe runs contained discreetly in trunking externally.

Once we had finalised the details we set to work on installing 5x top of the range, Toshiba wall mounted air conditioning units in each of the rooms. The pipework for the upstairs units was directed up into the loft to keep the installation neat and tidy. Downstairs the units were installed on the external walls with pipework going straight outside into trunking, matched to the colour of the house.

The total install, including mains electrics, was carried out in just a week and the customer was very pleased not only with the result but with the efficiency of our team.
