If its a large building you’re looking to condition, VRF air conditioning systems are for you. One outdoor unit can control up to 64 indoor units! Multi air conditioning systems enable individual control of the temperature in each room, to maximise comfort while keeping running costs to a minimum. Air conditioning systems are often used as a replacement for central heating in commercial properties as they provide incredibly efficient year round temperature control.

Ceiling mounted air conditioning units are a great solution to commercial cooling as they can blow cool air in 4 different directions so you don’t have any hot spots and can be hidden within a suspended ceiling.

The installation for ceiling mounted units is very quick and is reasonably inexpensive for a commercial unit that’s why it’s the go-to choice for most retail and restaurant businesses.

The Mercure Hotel Case Study

We recently upgraded the air conditioning at a renowned hotel in the heat of the Nottingham city centre, The Mercure Hotel. Their previous AC systems became outdated, as the hotel looked to enhance their guest comfort with new hotel air conditioning units, as the high-end hotels 76 rooms, gym and restaurant were experiencing temperature control issues. With this in mind, The Mercure wanted to provide their guests with a pleasant environment, as some guests complained about temperature discomfort.

After assessing the hotel, we came to the conclusion that The Mercure would require 83 new wall mounted units and 4 new ceiling cassettes, with each AC unit coming with their own hard wired remote control. Throughout the installation process, we ensured that we minimised guest disruption as hotel couldn’t afford to close during installation. This project was successfully completed, and The Mercure Hotel demonstrated their commitment to improving guest comfort with their brand new air conditioning system.
